I do not take assignments from individuals, parties, or organizations that are racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ, ableist, far-right, or otherwise extremist. I define the criteria for this myself and ask to be contacted if I am unaware of information regarding specific actors.

In general, I do not moderate events for political parties, government institutions, or for-profit companies or associations. This is to prevent my participation being used for (political) advertising purposes. However, I do, for example, participate as a discussant in events organized by party-affiliated foundations, deciding on a case-by-case basis whether to take part.

Please understand that I cannot respond to surveys or requests related to bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral theses, trial reporting, or similar projects.

As a rule, I do not share calls for donations or demonstrations, nor do I participate in such events, especially in areas I cover journalistically.

I am not available for (paid) advertising on my social media channels or in any other capacity. This includes party advertising and any type of campaign. I do not accept gifts. I also currently do not write blurbs, do not work as a ghostwriter, and ask for understanding regarding this.

I am a member of Verdi and of the Neue Deutsche Medienmacher*innen. I regularly serve as a jury member for the Alexander-Rhomberg Prize for Emerging Journalism and the Franco-German Journalism Prize. I do not belong to any political party. I work freelance for various media outlets, publishers, and public broadcasting institutions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
